Our
Projects
We are proud to have worked across various community venues, including schools and student properties. We let professionalism and creativity combine for a fun and relaxing environment for students, including play areas and sandpits.
A Student Lettings Project
We installed several planter beds, filled with soil, made form Canadian oak sleepers so that the students were able to plant and grow their own fruit and vegetables. This is not only good for the environment but means that they can save money and develop their horticultural skills at the same time.

We were also able to put our fencing abilities to good use by installing a pair of fence posts so the students would have somewhere to hang a hammock in the summer months. This was installed in front of the some eye catching red brickwork that had been exposed once the garden was cleared.

The garden was then linked together with a pathway edged with cobblestones which neatly circled the fantastic pear tree situated toward the bottom of the now landscaped garden.
Nautical Themed School Playground Project
At Brick & Bloom we take pride in our ability to turn ordinary school grounds into vibrant and engaging spaces for children. We were tasked with designing and constructing a nautical-themed sandpit for a primary school. Our team meticulously crafted a sandpit complete with a nautical aesthetic, with decking on either side of the sandpit.
All-Weather Play Area
Recognizing the unpredictable nature of our climate, we went the extra mile to ensure that the children could enjoy their playtime regardless of the weather. Our solution was to install a covered area for play during the rain, and protection from the sun.

Sustainable Sand Play with a Water Butt
In line with our commitment to sustainability, we integrated an eco-friendly element into the design. The roof of the covered area is equipped with a water butt, allowing for the collection of rainwater for wet sand play.
Flowerbeds, Path & Slide for Primary School
.We worked with a primary school to address the issue of a slippery, muddy slope leading to a path where children had fallen down.
Flowerbed Area & Path
We created two distinct sections separated by a wall. The lower part includes the path and a landscaped flowerbed. This area is designed to be functional and safe all year round, no matter the weather. Children can now walk and play without worrying about slippery slopes.
Slide Area
For those sunny and dry days, we left a dedicated top section. This area features a playful slide and offers a perfect spot for outdoor fun when weather conditions are favorable.
